Instructional Design Competition
In order to further implement the policy of ‘easing the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education’ and boost the classroom teaching effect and the overall improvement of the school's teaching quality, after the careful planning of the Teaching Department, the Junior High Department of the west campus successfully held the competition of teachers’ basic teaching skills (On-Site Teaching Design) on the evening of January 6th, 2022, which was attended by young and middle-aged teachers under the age of 40.
Specifically, the form of the competition is a complete teaching design based on the subject, including textbook analysis, teaching objectives, teaching focus, teaching difficulties, teaching methods, teaching aid and teaching process. As the saying goes: to do a good job, you must sharpen your tools. Instructional design is the starting point of the classroom teaching, the premise for every teacher to stand in the classroom, and the required course for every teacher's educational career. There are many teaching ideas to improve teaching effectiveness, however, it is significant to make good use of teaching designs to enhance teaching effectiveness. If we want to be good teachers, we should be good teaching plan designers first.
On the scene of the competition, the teachers were attentive, who either bent their heads to meditate, or worked hard to design scientific and reasonable, beautiful and unique teaching designs which were pleasing to the eye. We have every reason to believe that this competition is a demonstration of young and middle-aged teachers to work hard and forge ahead. It’s also hoped that all teachers can take this competition as an opportunity to learn various skills, promote their teaching ability, and make their own contribution so that the quality of education and teaching in Anqing Foreign Language School can reach a new level.
To sum up, bathing in the warm winter sun, we focus on teaching and research with no distractions! It’s believed that the flowers of our teaching and research will be more and more prosperous towards the warm sun!
